I'm one month in from publishing my first book, Cole Got Cucked Hard.
My goal is to have a sale a day on average - bearing in mind some days are better than others. I'm stoked to be able to say that for my first month I've exceeded that goal, with 34 sales so far. If you're one of the 34 people, thanks so much, and I hope you enjoyed the book.
That's not all though: I've also had my first Patreon supporter, my first commission, my first five-star review, and a hundred new followers on Twitter. The support has been awesome.
I've also got a better handle on where and how to sell my work. On day one I started with just Amazon, figuring that's pretty much the only place people buy ebooks, especially erotica. But since then I've expanded into Smashwords, Apple iBooks, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and I'm in the process of getting my book stocked on Google Play.
I'm in the middle of writing two different books: Best Man, which I've been working on for a while (patreon supporters can see a rought draft of one of the chapters), and the aforementioned commission which I started a couple of weeks ago.
All in all it's been fun, and a learning experience. I'm proud of myself for taking the plunge, and for writing something that at least a few people seem to think is worth reading. And I'm super grateful for all the support I've had from people who've bought the book, supported me in other ways, or just given me positive feedback. You guys are great. I hope I've managed to return the favour by providing some hot fantasy for you to get off to.
